Operating Principle
Every ARBO immersion pump is available in an out-of-tank (cantilever) configuration. The main advantage of this design is that the pump can be installed outside the process tank when there is insufficient space inside the tank. It also allows the installation of multiple suction lines, for example for pre-coating or rinsing operations.
Applications
Suitable for all transfer and circulation applications involving corrosive liquids, including media containing a high concentration of solids or slurries with medium viscosity. This pump series is equipped with a modern semi-open impeller that is mounted on the shaft independently of the direction of rotation.
Materials
PPH is the standard material, providing excellent chemical resistance and suitability for a wide range of applications. For highly abrasive liquids with a high solids content, impellers can be manufactured from High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (HMPE) on request.
For highly corrosive acid mixtures at elevated temperatures, the pump can also be supplied in solid PVDF.
