Operating Principle
AM pumps are end-suction, non-self-priming centrifugal pumps with magnetic drive.
Applications
These pumps are suitable for all transfer and circulation applications involving clean chemicals and other corrosive liquids. AM pumps are equipped with a high-efficiency closed impeller (except for the smallest model, which features an open impeller). The impeller is mounted on the magnetic drive capsule independently of the direction of rotation.
Materials
Polypropylene (PP) is suitable for most applications. For pumping concentrated chemicals and/or operation at elevated temperatures, all wetted components are manufactured from PVDF. The plastic components are fiber-reinforced, making the pump stronger despite the reduced amount of material used, while maintaining its mechanical properties during sudden increases in temperature and/or pressure. This significantly reduces the risk of leakage.
