The past month within our organisation was dedicated to recertification – an important moment during which our way of working was once again critically assessed. We are proud to announce that we have successfully renewed our ISO 9001 certification and have once again achieved the UNIK certification.
A result we are justifiably proud of as an organisation.
ISO 9001 is the global standard for quality management and essentially reflects how an organisation manages and safeguards its processes. During the audit, it was confirmed that our processes – from initial enquiry through to delivery – are demonstrably well organised and consistently followed.
A key focus over the past year has been further increasing transparency within our supply chain. We are increasingly being asked by customers about the origin of our products and how our supply chain is structured.
We have proactively responded to this.
Our quality and procurement departments conducted an extensive inquiry among our suppliers. The result: near-complete transparency across our supply chain. This enables us not only to answer customer questions, but to do so in a substantiated and verifiable manner.
In addition, the audit addressed in detail the recent amendment to ISO 9001 relating to climate change. Although this topic is not yet extensively defined within the standard, we have carefully assessed the potential impact on our organisation and supply chain. Where relevant, these insights have been incorporated into our risk assessments and internal processes. In doing so, we comply with the additional requirements and demonstrate that we actively and diligently follow developments within the standard.
During the audit, this was explicitly recognised as a strong point and a forward-looking approach.
For our customers, this means:
In addition to the ISO 9001 recertification, we have recently achieved the UNIK certification. This certification is issued by the industry association for plastics processing and is specifically aimed at companies involved in manufacturing, machining, processing or assembling thermoplastics and thermosets.
The certification confirms that our processes and working methods meet the requirements set within the industry.
A key element is the expertise of our employees. Our organisation employs qualified plastics specialists working in accordance with DVS guideline 2212-1. This means they are demonstrably trained and certified in welding and processing plastics according to recognised quality standards.
For our customers, this translates into:
Within QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment), we work daily on continuously improving and safeguarding our processes.
The renewal of ISO 9001 and the achievement of the UNIK certification are not goals in themselves, but the result of a structured and deliberate way of working.
Quality is not a coincidence for us – it is a foundation.
