Strong partnership in surface treatment

ARBO Pompen & Indufinish

For many years, ARBO Pumps & Filters B.V. and Indufinish have been working closely together on innovative surface treatment installations. Two Dutch specialists who complement each other: Indufinish as a leading supplier of complete spray and immersion lines, and ARBO as a manufacturer of high-quality thermoplastic immersion pump and filter systems for chemically demanding processes.

Indufinish: specialist in total solutions

Indufinish is internationally renowned for its efficient and reliable installations for cleaning, pickling and pre-treating metal products. From compact washing lines to fully automatic spray tunnels, Indufinish systems ensure that products are perfectly prepared for the next step, such as powder coating or cathodic dip coating (KTL).

For this specific project, Indufinish designed a modern spray tunnel with multiple spray zones, in which metal products are degreased with high precision. The circulation process of the liquids requires pump technology that can withstand aggressive media, continuous operation and high reliability – and that is exactly where ARBO comes in.

ARBO's solution

For the system, ARBO supplied four powerful vertical immersion pumps of the type DO-HD-150-80-250, part of the Heavy-Duty series. These pumps are made entirely of thermoplastic materials and are therefore 100% corrosion-free. Ideal for pumping acidic or corrosive liquids such as those used in degreasing and pickling baths.

The robust construction, high chemical resistance and operational reliability make the thermoplastic pumps a reliable link within the installation – exactly what is needed in a production environment where continuity counts.

Customisation down to the last detail

While our thermoplastic pumps are supplied in the characteristic ARBO green colour (RAL 6019) as standard, Indufinish opted for a different version in RAL 7024 (graphite grey) for this project – fully tailored to the design and appearance of the installation and the customer's wishes.

This is one of the many examples of customisation that ARBO offers its partners. In addition to colour matching, there are numerous other options available, such as:

  • Suction pipe extension up to 3 metres
  • Non-standard dimensions in support plates
  • Gas-tight versions for evaporating liquids
  • Customised paint systems, tailored to specific environments

This flexibility characterises the collaboration between Indufinish and ARBO: proactive, customer-oriented and with an eye for both technology and design.
