All Expertise combined: SaveMyAquarium

When collaboration runs smoothly and delivers the best results for clients, the logical next step is to join forces more formally. That is exactly what ARBO Pumps & Filters, RDW Processing, and ATO-Energysaving have done. Together, they form the one-stop shop SaveMyAquarium: the go-to address for all questions and solutions related to professional aquaria.

Professional Aquarium: Save My Aquarium

The concept is simple: three know more than one. These three companies have known each other for decades and have already successfully delivered numerous projects together. Each brings its own area of expertise to the table. Combined, this knowledge forms a powerful partnership capable of addressing the many challenges in the world of professional aquaria. Whether it concerns efficiency, water quality, energy savings, or sustainability, the key word is quality—individually, and certainly as a whole.

“This really makes you think. Of course, we still serve clients who simply want to replace a pump or upgrade a filtration system,” says John Wasser of ARBO. “But often one thing leads to another. Together with the client, we might conclude that it would be wiser to upgrade the entire Life Support System (LSS).”

In such cases, ARBO, RDW Processing, and ATO-Energysaving prefer to tackle the project together. “We know each other well and know what we can expect from one another,” explains Aldo van Tongeren of ATO. “That’s essential in large-scale projects such as major public aquaria. My role focuses on assessing the entire LSS, identifying opportunities for efficiency and energy savings. Based on that analysis, I provide recommendations, and ideally, I have them executed by the trusted partners I rely on: ARBO and RDW Processing.”

A Partnership That Inspires Growth

RDW Processing specializes in refurbishing, automating, and installing aquarium systems. “We know exactly how ATO operates and we are fully familiar with ARBO’s pumps and filters,” says Harald Matien of RDW Processing. “Installing or refitting an LSS involves a great deal of expertise, so it makes sense to have everything handled by a single, integrated team. That’s why we joined forces under the SaveMyAquarium name.”

This partnership directly responds to the growing demand in the aquarium sector for a single point of contact for all technical aspects of water systems. By combining their strengths, they have achieved just that: SaveMyAquarium.

John Wasser looks forward to working under this new name: “We have, in fact, already done this a few times—at clients such as Blijdorp Zoo and Burgers’ Zoo—where we aligned our collaboration very successfully. That left us wanting more.”

Aldo van Tongeren immediately felt the same way: “Together, we can serve our clients much better. We have expertise across the entire spectrum, which is exactly what’s needed for larger projects—but also for smaller questions. With our different backgrounds, all the answers are now available under one roof. And we’ve seen that there is strong demand for exactly that.”
