Double celebration at ARBO: 71 years of innovation and the last delivery for Ocean Berlin!
On 21 May 2025 ARBO Pumps and Filters celebrates its 71st anniversary.
A milestone to be proud of! What began in 1954 as a trading company in electroplating accessories grew into a leading manufacturer of high-quality thermoplastic pumps and filters with worldwide applications. Today we are known for our quiet, energy-efficient and extremely durable pumps, which have become the standard in many industries.
And what could be better than celebrating this anniversary with a special occasion? Today the last shipment of 53 pallets, representing 59 pumps and a total weight of 12,200 kg leaves for Berlin, where we are contributing to the impressive “Ocean Berlin” project. Two trucks are loading the pumps, bringing this international prestige project one step closer to completion.
Ocean Berlin: a sustainable underwater world
From the summer of 2026, an innovative aquarium with an impressive capacity of 7,500,000 liters will open in Berlin-Lichtenberg. ARBO Pumps supplies the technology behind the water management system, with quiet, powerful pumps which are 24/7 in operation. Our products are specifically designed for this type of **Life Support Systems (LSS)**, where reliability, noise reduction and energy efficiency are crucial.
